Yesterdays Bible Reading, Proverbs 30-31 God will reveal the true intentions of those around us 31:2 O my son, O son of my womb, O son of my vows, 3 do not waste your strength on women, on those who ruin kings. Proverbs 31 verses 2 and 3 are the first of 31 verses that contain words of wisdom that King Lemuels mother taught him. This particular lesson can apply to anyone. Sometimes those around us appear to be for us. But the reality is that every person we are connected with is not God sent. Some people were sent by the enemy to destroy us, delay us, and detour us, just as the scripture says to ruin us. This is why it is important to ask God for discernment. He will reveal to us the true intent of the heart of those around us, in order to protect us. When He does reveal, sometimes it is best just to let them go! .
