Yet another event where you, the faithful, old and new, did us proud like you do every time ! The atmosphere was amazing last night, no trouble whatsoever as usual because all of you were there for the same thing, escape reality, let your hair down and have a bloody good night out, just how clubbing should be ! With every single DJ that played last night, playing the perfect set, each getting harder as the night went on, they couldn’t have done any better. High Daniels was up first, it’s hard to play an ideal warm up set, especially for a crowd you don’t know and a completely different genre to your usual but I don’t think anyone could have played a better set than that, it was ideal, the mixing was shithot and everyone loved it ( I especially liked the James bond theme tune – brilliant !) He will most definitely be back ! Resident – Deny, he played exactly the right set and exactly what was required and on the 1210’s – proper DJing, I think it was one of the best sets I’ve heard him play before. Sam Townend a Monastery/ER newbie, a bit funky ?? Yes he was but at the same time it was just right and with a full dance floor the crowd loved it as much as I did. Another newbie for us was Noizy Boy, it was obvious he felt at home with us playing what he loves to play and what he plays best, he followed Sam perfectly building it up ready for The SmootHound, another resident, again on the 1210’s never fails to impress…f*****g excellent set as always ! Our 2nd headliner – Andy Whitby has only played for us once before but obviously remembered what we love and gave us exactly that taking it to the next level of hardness ready for our last residents The Fierce DJ’s (well DJ – only Steve for this one) who effortlessly took us through to the end playing an amazing set to finish the night off banging it out ! Musically, From start to end I don’t think I’ve had a night as perfect as that for a long long time, so thanks to all the lads that played. As you know I have loads of people who help me with everything, I’ve tagged you all, couldn’t do it without any of you xx But a very special thanks from me is to Chris N Vic Balsom, even though I said not to, you did – thank you so much, you’ve no idea how much I appreciated that – BUT DON’T DO IT AGAIN !!
