Yet another grieving relative has been tormented by the theft of objects from the grave of a loved one. A devastated widow has labelled thieves who stole treasured ornaments from her husband’s grave “evil scumbags”. Distraught Frances Bishop broke down in tears when she discovered two clay pigeons and a dog statue had been snatched from husband Philip’s memorial at Brandwood End Cemetery, Kings Heath. “Words cannot describe how devastated I am,” said the 71-year-old. Are these thefts on the increase?
