Yet another poem that I jotted down just this morning. Heavens Colors 11/25/14 By Leora A beautiful sunset on an ocean or lake Can be very overwhelming to behold and take. So many colors, so many different hues. Pink, yellow, white, purple, and blue. All perfectly blended together around the sun. Its hard to tell where the Earth ends and Heavens begun. The daylight is waning upon the calm waters. Hardly a ripple to make it falter. Or a snowcovered mountaintop so majestic in splender. It looks like God mixed all his colors in a giant blender! And poured them out over the tops of the peaks, It is such a sight one can hardly speak. From flower covered meadow to open canyon, Nature can be so beautiful that we can hardly stand. We feel our knees get weak and our hearts go a-flutter. Our insides just melt like a whole lot of butter. From the tiniest flower to the highest mountain tops, Its hard to know where Heaven begins and the Earth stops. Each evening star tells its own story, Each evening star shining with glory. As the sun finally sets over the tops, Its so quiet you can hear a pin drop. The moon has come out, no more colors in the sky. The darkness of night brings out animals who cry. A wolf howls at the moon somewhere off in the distance. Another day has gone; no more resistance. The stars peak out one by one in the night. The dark is so calm, but the coming daylight is bright.
