Yknow, Im thinking Facebook , with all its glitches isnt really worth its many annoyances. Case in point : My other account. I wake up at 1AM to find that it was up to at least 95% functionality. All those fortunes are now reveresed. It is at best a roller coaster. The platform is so dysfunctionally unstable. Why is that ? Because it is free crap that is why. We pay nothing for it and we get exactly what it is worth. I want a Facebook we have to pay for. One that when something doesnt work, I have a customer service number for. I want a sliding scale of services. I want a Free Facebook for those who imagine they get anything of value for free. I want a Bronze Service, a Silver Service, a Gold Service & a Platinum Service. For Payers as opposed to Users I want things like Customer Service with real people manning phones. There would be differing levels of Customer Service. Maybe Bronze Customers get a E-Mail responce in a matter of 48 hours, as an example. Or that Users (non-Payers) could not lodge complaints against Payers. Further , you could filter your friends to Payers, blocking Users. Or if you are a Silver Member you could friend anyone below Silver but nobody above Silver. Users could only add Users to their Friends List while anyone could, if they wished add anyone equally ranked or lower in the food chain. Maybe you are a User and you dont want friend requests sent to you by Payers. You would be able to BLOCK them and of course you could block all the other inmates of the lowest of the low. Id be willing to pay $700 a year for Platinum Services. Just so there are no annoyances. And because there are benefits of highest rank. I could fish in any pond as a Platy. I hope that somebody at Facebook sees this post and can turn Zuckerbergs head. Because no social media will survive if all it is populated by Users. Because what Corporation could respect Users? That is what we are. They give us only one option : User. The word itself is nasty. I like Payer myself. When you are a paying customer, you are respected. Free Facebook is its undoing. There is only so much life in a User Based System.
