Yo my my fella!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to state my election platform. This year I am running for a counselor position in SMCSU. More specifically I am aiming at the position of the promotion officer. Simply speaking the job of the promotion office is in charge of promoting every single events and updating news for SMCSU by talking to people as well as on facebook, twitter, and also hold my own office hours in the SMCSU office every week. I believe I will ace this job because I am best at talking to people and making friends. So this job would be fairly easy and natural to me. Besides I will be on residence and running for a position on SMRC (SMC residence counsil) next year, so I believe me joining SMCSU would help improve the cooperation and communication between the residence and the commuters. A lot of you guys saw me jumping all around , cheering and dancing during the frosh week as a frosh leader, which won me the best frosh leader in the Disney category. And my best time of every single day after the frosh week is staying in the Canada room for hours and hours and talk to different groups of friends about everything. I probably set the record of staying in Canada room without leaving for 7 hours just by talking to different people, both commuters eating in the Canada room or the residence. I will also be staying in both Brennan and the Canada room from now on till the election time, probably longer than usual, for you guys to talk to me about ANYTHING, including any questions or concerns about the election. I am sure most of you already talked to me before. If you did not, I definitely recognized your face. Please feel free to talk to me about everything. Lastly but not the least, this election is open to ALL students registered under SMC and ALL residents, no matter if you are an engineer, or in your master or PhD degree or in Kinesiology program. The voting is on Wednesday and Thursday, March 19th and 20th. You can either vote online at voting.utoronto.ca using your Utorid or you can vote at the two voting stations on campus, one at the entrance of the Brennan Hall and the other one at Sidney Smith Hall. Also join the Candidate forum on Monday when you will have the chance of asking questions to all of the candidates. Cheers!!
