Yoga for Runners and Athletes with Liz Richards returns to The Ananta Yoga Studio this Autumn! Commencing on Friday 6th September 7.30pm-9.00pm and running in 4 week blocks at a cost of just €50 for 4 classes, this popular class is suitable for any students from Beginners stage and upwards who are involved in any kind of sporting activity on any level. Stretch and ease out tired muscles, open stiff joints, learn to align, prepare and open your body sensitively and sensibly while improving performance levels, mental focus and clarity and enhancing your over all physical, mental and spiritual well being. These specialised yoga classes are aimed at strengthening and stabilising the areas of the body which are especially vulnerable in some sporting activities such as ankles, knees, hips, lower backs and necks and a different approach is used than in most of the regular weekly classes.
