Yoga tip for today: See if you can find some time this weekend to work sequentially on the poses I have introduced that started on 1/1. Tell me how you feel after! Slowly, we are building a full sequence that I will provide in a few weeks as one long tutorial to follow in real-time. Remember to take the variations introduced for any discomfort/injuries you are working with. Tomorrow, I will continue the discussion on downward facing dog. Sequence up until now: sukhasana/comfortable-easy seat (1st video) marichyasana c/seated spinal twist variation (2nd video) kapotasana/pigeon pose variation (3rd video) gentle shoulder and neck openers (4th video) moving between upward facing hand pose/urdhva hastasana and standing forward fold/uttanasana; low cobra/bhujangasana; salabasana b/locust pose (5th video) downward facing dog/adho mukha svanasana (6th-8th videos) (Come onto your hands and knees after 5 breaths in down dog and rest there for a few breaths.)
