You Are Not In the Presence of Others By Chance The ego would try to convince us that our journey is meaningless, and that we are all just wasting our time. And yet, how could any life possibly be meaningless when every day we are gifted numerous opportunities, with each individual we encounter and interact, to remind them through our love, kindness, forgiveness, and compassion, of the truth within us all. Today instead of drowning in the ego’s deceptions and accepting its lies, we will look deep into the mirror, acknowledge, and accept that we are the lifeguards that God/Source has set upon these shores. Today instead of crossing our arms in defense, let us open them up like welcoming mothers and fathers. Today our brother and sister’s entrance into our life is a clear sign that we have been place here for a purpose, that we are indeed needed here, and that it is not by chance that they have been brought before us.
