You Dont Have To Cry Alone A story is told of a little boy who saw an old man on a park bench crying. He sat down next to him and began sobbing as well. Finally, the old man composed himself, looked over and asked, Why are you crying? Through teary eyes the sincere child replied, So you dont have to cry alone. Hebrews 11:24-25 reveals the time when Moses could no longer retain Egyptian identity but chose to break free to align himself with his countrymen though they were slaves. What a type of God Who chose to leave His heavenly throne and splendor to become as one of His countrymen. To leave royalty of royalties to take upon Him the form of a servant. God was IN Christ reconciling the world unto Himself. Why sit down on the bench, as it were, and join Himself with suffering and weeping humanity? Simply, so we would not have to cry alone! Compassion moved God to His crowned creation. Oh how He loves you and me!
