You all know Im with #johntory today. Its not anti-Chow or this anyone but Ford biz (though I am anti-Ford) I do think John will do a great job for Toronto. Itll be a tactful term, status quo socially. Itll be boring. I believe thats what we need. Operate council like an executive team, focus on transit and economic development. Set Toronto on the right operational path. Then, I believe is when a mayor like Olivia Chow can come in and continue to build on that, painting with her socially-responsible brush. Im with Olivia in many way, just not now. One before the other doesnt work at this stage in Torontos story, its not feasible and we need to play to our leaders strengths. We cant help people until we have a strong municipal foundation and between transit and council alone, I think we can all agree it is in a bad state. Think about the big picture. Think 20 years from now and what some big bold moves will mean. Believe that we can chart a path that favors right and left in the big picture. Thats whats led me to support John today. More importantly, VOTE. Apathy is pathetic. You have no excuses in this day in age as far as informing yourself, even if its on your phone on route the polls. It would be amazing to see 60+% turn out!!
