You all need to be aware of the internet problems and Im not saying this wasnt simply an accident or something. I am just asking you to indulge your critical thinking. You dont know who you are meeting on the internet. You dont know whose phone you are calling. You dont know if they actually have something for sale or simply got a picture and information off the internet. Perhaps meeting someone to buy, sell, or meet for romantic reasons is just a ploy to rob you? It happens much more than is reported, only living people can report crimes. If nobody knows exactly where you are and what you are doing, nobody can report it. The internet is a tool just like any other tool it has more than one use. Perhaps youve met someone to buy, sell or even met a romantic interest successfully but that doesnt make it safe Anytime you meet someone from the internet make sure you can positively identify them FIRST. If anyone refuses to be positively identified, it isnt worth it. I hope foul play hasnt happened here but it isnt looking good for this couple. Apparently they were calling a disposable cell phone. They had placed an ad seeking a 66 Mustang. Placing the ad made them somewhat identifiable but not the person supposedly selling the car. They were going in blind and oblivious to WHO they were meeting. Police say the phone number called by the Runions traced back to a disposable cell phone. Police are tracking signals from that phone in hopes of finding the couple.
