You and I want this life. To be so obsessed with something that it spins us into a 60 year frenzy. Until something else moves us. I met a guy tonight at the supermarket. Dressed like an English scholar. Hed just come from the local college orchestra. Now, this man didnt remember me. Hes 80. I last saw him in 1991. He invested $50,000 in my company. He received $280,000 on that investment. Hes 80. In his basket was organic kale, apples, whey protein, blueberries and a beer. Said he started juicing 45 years ago. Some guy named Jack LaLanne and then Jay Kordich convinced him it was a good idea. The guy was solid as a rock. Not big. Just lean and upright. He ventured by the orchestra immediately following work. Goes to the office 6 days a week. Said to me why breathe this air if you dont have a reason to wake up tomorrow. I would hope we all could live like that.
