You and only you have the power to create your life based on your choices. A combination of all of your choices up until this moment have lead you to this exact place in this exact body at this exact time. It has always been difficult for me to consider that everything in my life was a choice. If that’s the case, then it suffices to say I chose to have an eating disorder and nearly lose my life, right? Essentially, the answer is ‘yes’. If you want to get really deep, I can tell you that existence chose you, through you. What I am saying is that creative energy itself, Spirit, God, or whatever you want to call it, chose to express itself through you. All of your actions in this life are directed by that creative source. This is why surrendering control is healing. Allowing ourselves permission to be guided by a deeper source of energy than only our logical mind results in ananda, bliss, nirvana, peace, health, equanimity, or whatever else you like to call that thing thats at the core of your being.
