You are just returning from a vacation from Canada heading back home to Portsmouth, through the White Mountains of New Hampshire, It is a late fall night on September 19th, 1961 it is just you and your wife in the car traveling down Route 3. The night sky is clear and as your driving you see a light off in the distance, descending rapidly in your direction. You continue down the road going towards Indian Head Resort. You feel compelled to get a better look, you stop the car just south of the resort on the middle of the road. You exit the car while you tell your wife to stay put, You take a pair of binoculars from the car to get a better look,and as you place the binoculars in front of your eyes, what you see grips you with fear and dread, paralyzed. You cannot believe what you are seeing, it cannot be. Am I dreaming? This isnt possible, this is not happening. You feel you will come to harm, so you get back nto the vehicle and drive away as fast as you can, but as you are driving you realize that you are now 35 miles farther in your journey then you should be and that you cannot account for two hours of missing time........You struggle with coming to grips to what you have just experienced, and not until 1965 only then your story is leaked to the public via a local paper called the Boston Traveler. Your case is the first widely published story of UFO abduction reported in the United States.........You are Barney Hill a United States Postal worker and Betty Hill a social worker, neither of you are affected by flights of fancy.......No I am not Rod Serling and this is not the Twilight Zone.
