“You are our epistle, written in our hearts, which is known and read by all men” (II Cor 3:2, KJV). This verse is for every believer to take notice. For it is one thing to preach the Bible, and another to live the Bible. The Apostle Paul, writing to the Ephesians, wanted to get this message into their hearts – that is, if you proclaim yourself to be a Christian, people are reading you like a book; that is…your actions. Again, if you claim to be a Christian, and life speaks otherwise, you give Jesus a bad name – just as Moses did when he struck the rock (to retrieve water), instead of speaking to it. Remember, the Bible says that the Rock indeed (spiritual speaking) “was Christ” (I Cor 10:4). In essence, we basically need to act like Christians and not only say that were Christians. Otherwise, we make Him a liar and or testimony is not true. Amen.
