You are so on point. But it is not because we as Black people would not watch it. We watched Living Single, Girlfriends, Franks Place and a lot of others. Shows such as Empire also have a large non-Black following. It helps to reinforce their stereotypes of Blacks and other ethnic groups. My problem with the current Black TV mess is two part. First, we should never expect the major stations to show us in a positive light. What we must do is demand it. We have had programming pulled. However, in most cases we are watch it, justify it as not being real then try to duplicate the look. And somebody please tell TVOne and BET that the 70s, 80s and 90s are gone.
