You can be strong, and you can be fit without necessarily being agile. Agility is a combination of balance, coordination, speed, reflexes, strength and endurance. If you are into sports or general fitness, agility can add another dimension to your performance and to your training or your fitness regimen. Even in everyday activities, the ability to react quickly or change direction rapidly could mean the difference between avoiding injury and being hurt. In order to develop or increase your agility, specialized exercises should become part of your training.
