You can stop him him from wrestling in a two man Round Robin to defend his 2013 State Championship. You can tell him he aint tough enough to win it. But you cant tell him to hang his head and you cant tell him to quit. He will be at State tomorrow. I am sure he will garner many questions and hopefully his story will reach a few minds. You will never hear me say he would have won this years State Title but you will hear us cheering for the kids we know from all over the state tomorrow. This kids got the heart of a champion.... I am proud of your determination Ethan and we know what you have gone through this year and that decision to push through those battles will help you become the Man you are supposed to be. Funny how sometimes we forget to offer our hands in service to the kids that need it when they need it most I am as guilty as the worst. But determined to be more like the Most High. Its not all about team trophies and gold medals. Men grow men. Are rules only bad if they affect you or or the ones you love? Would a 3 man bracket be better than a 2 man bracket? Is a parent that has registered for tourneys 50+ times and had to call the next day twice just a bad parent that needs accountability lessons? What if we all wrote down 3 good things and 3 bad things about SCYWA and turned them in to the coaches to set the summer agenda after the tourney tomorrow?
