You cannot name yourself a free thinker while simultaneously insisting that your thoughts are all directed by chemical physics purely based on matter. In a purely materialistic world, nothing would move-not even the tiny quarks within atoms. Force and Movement is the condition of matter and not matter itself. To assert that matter moves matter will only lead to an analytical regress that will never end. Truly, if matter were the only existence, it wouldnt even exist, because existence requires force and movement. Philosophically speaking, physics only describes the how, never the why to any existence or activity. Thus anything extending beyond what is could only be a meaningless thought or utterance-even the consciousness of existence, because matter cannot justify reason. Matter in the form of rocks and things has no awareness of its own existence and will not develop any more awareness by adding more matter having more complexity in makeup. It all still is matter, just collected. Now to apply Occams razor, it is logically imperative in a purely physical world to assume all language as meaningless utterance that adds no quantity to existence whatsoever. Microbes, that possess no language meet the standard of evolution as defined by Darwin himself as the preservation of favored races (species). This is for the simple reason that they have the highest population within each of their own species than all other organisms in the world combined. They also kill far more organisms than all other organisms combined. Theyre truly at the top of the food chain-and having allegedly survived millions of years of existence are indeed the fittest by definition of evolutionary assertion.
