You cannot put a price, or any unit of measure, on the joy of the people receiving OR giving in this story. There IS good in this world, folks. People... FIND the goodness in yourself - even if you think its buried down deep, under a lot of sin. CHOOSE to do good - be kind - be generous. When you choose to DO, and BE, these things - you WILL see the goodness in yourself, and in others. If you arent able to share monetarily - share your talent... share your TIME. Can you think of anything more precious than your time??? Give the gift of your time to someone. Family, friends or perfect strangers. You have no idea what someone might be going through at any given moment. Even giving something as simple as a smile and a kind hello could save someones life. Give. Love. Expect nothing in return. “But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. “Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. ~Luke 6:35-36 (NASB) “Give, and it will be given to you. For by your standard of measure it will be measured to you in return.” ~Luke 6:38 (NASB) Be kind and generous - not only this Christmas season, but always.
