You cant touch music, but music can touch you. Today I delivered a VPI Classic 2 turntable and spent a great deal of time aligning the cartridge. The new owner played a 45rpm Living Stereo record to try it out. At the end of the track I looked over and he was in tears. He said hed never heard that sound so good. Obviously he had emotional connections to the song itself, but to be able to facilitate this kind of outcome is so rewarding. To say I was touched is an understatement - Im still a little fragile from the whole experience.
