You can’t force yourself to “fit” into someone else’s - TopicsExpress

You can’t force yourself to “fit” into someone else’s armor for your battle – no matter how impressive that person is. Your battle is designed for you to fight with God on your side. It doesn’t matter what title a person has, how many degrees, how big their bank account is, or how many cars are in their driveway. David could only face Goliath using his own talents, and you can only face your struggle using yours. You were supposed to be “you” - not Johnny or Suzi. We must get to a place where we esteem ourselves based solely on the irreplaceable worth God gives us as His children. God created your uniqueness. He gave you your own set of hand prints which will never be duplicated. While you are trying to cram yourself into a “cookie-cutter mold”, you must realize it is your difference that makes you so valuable. It is the rare artifact that is priceless! We are so blessed to live in the time we are in right now. God has revealed to us the truths in His Word that state we need to celebrate our uniqueness and esteem our differences. Our unique differences set us apart and equip us to fulfill the plan and purpose of God for our lives (1 Corinthians 12:12-30).
