You don’t pay us anything to get started, and we don’t pay you anything for your stories. As of now, we are a pretty new media platform and we are trying to build up a pool of contributors/citizen journalists. We do not have any revenue sharing model in place as of yet, but will soon come up with something to reward our contributors better. Are you kidding me? Is this how writers are treated nowadays? You have to be thankful that you dont pay a publication to publish you? Being a writer isnt easy, it takes years worth of rejection and mistakes to get to a place where someone says its okay for you to be published and that too for a minimum amount. Most do it for the appreciation and to have their voices heard—to represent people. And this is how writers get treated by entitled websites?
