You got a friend ~Carol King is my favorite song. When Im sad I sing it to myself. Music and art have always filled my void. I have been toold that I seem unapproachable my friends know I try to be there for everyone stretching myself beyond my limits. Lately it seems like suicide is a daily topic. Touching my life more than I have ever noticed.perhaps face book puts in our face. Most off my friends are artists song writers musicians. We are full of expression hot or cold happy or sad. It seems like we would be immune. The sad secret is. The tears of a clown hits close to home... we put on our game face. People feel they can say improper rude things because we are out there. We get thick skinned quick.laugh it off. Under the make up when the lights are off, alone in our minds even in a crowded room there is a tender place.. we dont always show it. When you speak I smile. Nod in agreement. You will never know how I feel. Ive been perfecting this act for a lifetime... I wonder if social media is making us. so detached we forget the human beings behind the name and pretty picture.. hug each other. Meet for lunch. Say kind things.get off your darn phone. Interface. Face to face.
