Sam, who suffers from MS for the last 20 years currently lives in a VERY OLD 800 sq ft. house with her aging father-in-law and her kind husband, who is a rancher and also works at the hospital full-time. She was in the hospital for a YEAR bed-bound (CAN YOU IMAGINE?) and this is when our girls really got to know her. (We used to take the kids there to sing to her and to visit, she really is an angel NEVER complaining, a true hero. I would leave the hospital in awe at her strength, honestly I could never be that strong!) Now that she is home her wheelchair makes it very very hard to move around her house because her house isnt wheelchair friendly. She has been house bound for 20 years.
