You guys... Comet ISON could actually mess us up, SERIOUSLY. The more I think about it... the more I worry. Its ALREADY causing the Sun to kick our asses. Did you notice all the flare activity as soon as Ison passed Earths orbit? Its like the Sun FINALLY woke up during this oddly quiet maximum, and most of the flares seem to be aimed directly towards this incoming comet.. Weve seen very convincing evidence that the sun responds to comets way more electrically than NASA wants to admit. Which sounds fishy, unless you consider the motives and implications: Would they WANT us knowing? No. -Ison is a Manhattan sized magnetic rock, that is holding one polar direction as it rotates for some unknown reason, and its going to fly closer to the Sun than any other comet weve observed. Its also got a green coma for some reason. What happens when that outfacing pole aims at the Sun when it rips around the back? That pole will be Earth aimed when it happens. Here I was worried about the Earth being bombarded as were flying through the debris trail in January; but what if that Solar flyby causes insanely huge solar flares and mass ejections like weve never seen before? Seriously, appreciate your internet and electricity, we might only have a month left, here.
