You guys!!! Weve updated our hours for the shop, which means...we are dipping our toes into this whole consistently being open at a brick & mortar thing.* Yikes! But also, yikes in a good way! Thank you all so, so much for coming out to see us last weekend at our soft opening. It meant the world to us, especially when it was hailing outside and still people came. This past week was spent figuring out logistics, because we also have The Cleveland Flea this weekend! So, Jesse & I will be manning the booth at the Flea while our people hold down the shop - we have people!. (Also, I am calling this our semi-soft opening, Jesse doesnt like it. I also call his car the milk jug because it has a faint whiff of dairy, hes not a fan of that either.) Were also brainstorming fun ideas for the shop since winter is coming and all, amongst them, fresh-made churros & hot chocolate! And also delicious things to do with Philomena Bake Shop baked goods. If you have any other suggestions, please share if youd like. Our shop will be open starting at 2pm until 9pm on weekdays, 10pm on Fridays & Saturdays and 6pm on Sundays. Well be closed on Mondays for now. We are still playing around with the hours, trying to strike the right balance between being open and available for everyone and also not being at the shop every waking minute, so please be patient with us. Also, these are winter hours, and well definitely be open longer once it warms back up (and it will!! I hope, because we have an ice cream shop!!). Anyway, enough about us! How are you guys??? Would love to see you all at the Flea and the shop this weekend if youre around - have a great weekend either way! *SO weird being behind a counter that doesnt have wheels! But also, being inside, away from the elements, is kind of amazing.
