You have a day that for the biggest part is a fairly nice day, you know no problems, no issues to deal with, then you see something or hear something that brings back memories of something you used to do and from there pretty much takes a nose dive straight down because of a friend you had and something that happened to that friend?? Bouncing around a little on here just kinda checking out misc. and came across a picture that reminded me of when I was in the Navy. When I was in the Navy I had a friend who talked me out of doing some real stupid shit at the time that was practically my brother. He was the one guy on the ship that I loved hanging out with because me and him were always laughing and joking around and having a great time. Me and this guy became good friends towards the end of my enlistment and when it ended, it was harder than hell for me to say good bye to my friend. But I left and went back home to Topeka. A month later I was on a computer, messing around on the internet, trying to find out anything I could about my ship that I was on. I wound up coming across an article about a crewman from my ship that was killed in a car accident. Well as it turned out the crewman that was killed was my friend that I hung out with. He was killed when he raced down a highway at 90 mph, lost control of his car, went into a ditch, hit an embankment, rolled his car, got ejected and crushed when his car landed on top of him. So if thats any indication of how Im doing right now, Im alright but just stuck in the past.
