You have to be born again to be free! -- Pastor Stan Tonight before the lesson, Jaci shared an experience she had with God. She said that He showed her that He wanted to invite her to enjoy life again. She said that she thinks of Him as Father again, and not just as God. When she had that experience, she was so exited to come to church and share it. It renewed her faith, she was, bubbling over with it. She said God was showing her that He was wanting to spend time with her. Pastor Stan is continuing his lesson in Romans. Tonight he spoke on chapter 7. The law has no power over someone who is born again in Jesus Christ. We live freely by Faith. Before Jesus came, we lived under the law, which was impossible to live up to. After Jesus, and we became born again, we now live under Grace. We now have two main laws, love your neighbor as you love yourself, and love God with all your heart. Because of living under Grace instead of living under the law, we can live freely. The Christians who are born again, but still try and act like they did before they were Christians, will live a miserable life. This is because you cannot serve two masters. When you are born again, the old person is dead. You must give that life up completely and live under the Grace of God. We must live right and act right.
