You know, I dont ask for much, especially here. Id be an idiot if I did. But 2 weeks ago I bought a blender made in Malaysia, an expensive blender, glass container and everything. I did this because I have a fridge that works on and off and I like smoothies. Easy to make, good source of protein, and cooling in this hot weather. So tonight I put my fixins into the glass thing and turned it on. Just before it was finished I smelled something ominous and smoke came out of the damn thing. The smoothie is a little lumpy, but its the last one Ill get from my pricey Malaysian blender. The blender is outside, still smoking, mocking me for apparently wanting just a little too much. I had a laminator burst into flames about a year ago. I should have known. Its all my fault.
