You know, a lot of people I talk to who do not have this condition have also never even heard of it. It is in no way publicly known or even understood, and it is not all that rare. I dont know the statistics, but I think a good proportion of individuals have to contend with this, so I dont know why it is not given more attention. The medical community, from my understanding, is still stumped at how to EFFECTIVELY control much less offer up a cure and usually what makes one person shunt independent and the vast majority of us dependent is just boggles even the minds of the experts. Something really needs to change because this is a killer and apparently a silent killer at that. And that is my nightly rant, can I get an AMEN!
