You know it absolutely kills me to see friends on my page say negative things about the police. The day I graduated the police academy Ive never felt so proud of myself that day. I never forget hearing my little brother Trey telling me how proud of me he was. Ive been in this profession ten years now and Ive seen evil that people dont know exist. Ive worked my tail off for my community and my integrity has never been challenged that Im aware of. After the recent events that happened in Ferguson and so on has given a law enforcement a black eye. All I see now is negative comments about the profession I love from people who call me their friend. All cops arent bad. 95percent of them are good and put their lives on the line everyday for a small paycheck. You have bad cops but you also have bad teachers, doctors, lawyers etc. Sometimes I ask myself if its worth it to risk my life or being sued over doing my job for small change and not appreciated by our community. Does my children and family deserve that? They dont. I only hope theyre proud of me and understand why I chose this profession. I love people and my job allows me to help them. Its the greatest feeling in the world and to see the negative things posted about officers is one of the worst feelings Ive ever felt. From this day forward, Ill be deleting anyone that spreads negativity about law enforcement. I just cant deal with it anymore.
