You know its sad if you think about this; I used to have DISH and while I was on DISH RAYCOM which is a business than owns many stations decided to raise its prices to DISH X 4 times the cost of the previous contract. Well Raycom started a huge publicity campaign about how you can leave DISH or call dish to get get them to pay the higher rates. While the actual numbers of the new contract have never been released I would bet that Raycom did not receive the monies they demanded and eventually held many stations hostage like ABC and CBS locally. Well I was just at the weather channels website and it appears that they are attempting to do the exact same thing to Direct TV. You know who pays these huge price hikes and unjustified greedy people; those who have TV. Its not just Direct TV but even cable systems are held hostage; and this is so that the CEOs can maintain their almost inability to survive due to such small paychecks since they usually only receive 300X more than the average employee paycheck. And yet we wonder why we cant afford simple things like the basics of life while the top 1% are the ones who really run this nation......
