You know it’s Halloween when… My friends say that the veil between this world and the spirit world gets thin around All Hallows Eve. That spirits and those that go bump in the night can cross over easily at this time. Last night I was at home alone for the 1st time in many months. I went about securing the house for bed time. Locked all the doors, Closed the shutters in the bed rooms and I left one light on in the master bathroom as I get up at night sometimes. I am distracted easily, while in the bathroom putting my diabetic meds in order I noticed my electric tooth brush by the sink and not in it’s charger. I did not however put it on the charger as I got distracted by my dogs. Then I went to sleep. This morning I woke up and went into the bathroom to find. The light was turned off, my tooth brush in the charger and one shutter was open. The dogs had been jumpy before we went to bed, though I didn’t give it much thought then. As some of you already know dogs and cats can see spirits easily, and often will bark at or play with them. Having already done a house blessing at around 9PM last night I hadn’t thought there would be much spiritual activity here. Of course spirits like to make themselves known, especially this time of the year. My dear Angie has been on my mind these last few days and it would be very like her to save electricity and turn out the light. Very like her to put my tooth brush on the charger so it works when it’s needed, and very like her to have a look at the view from the back bedroom to the pool in the back yard. Did her spirit visit last night, I think so. I am not worried nor do I have a “bad feeling about this”. If you’re missing someone that has passed and they are in your thoughts be careful as at this time of the year it is very likely they can come a calling. If they do remember to set your fear aside and be happy they love you enough to look in on you. Look at this paranormal visit as a gift to know that life doesn’t end with the death of the body. Know that you are blessed because the spirits watch over you. Having had some trouble sleeping these last few days, last night I slept very well all thought the night. The house is calm today. Dogs are telling the neighbor dogs they smell like cats. That however is normal. When I want to insult someone I just say they mate out of their species. I know good one! One of my pals said her daughter had a night terror attack her daughter. When my son used to be scared of the dark and the monster in the closet I would come in and look under the bed and open the closet and peek inside for him. Then I gave him a pure light to shine anytime he wanted to as negative energy runs from pure light. (pure light is a Laser pointer) I gave my pal some advice on what to do about that night terror and sent a blessing. Back to work for me, can’t wait to hear the stories my clients have to tell.
