You know, looking at all the services running in Windows when Im doing absolutely nothing and have no software running - it makes me wonder just how much of that crap is actually necessary. Like Microsoft Windows Searcher Indexer - wtf is it doing? Im not searching for anything! Or the Windows Log-on Application - Im already logged in! You can shut down now! Whats worse is when you shut down unnecessary services to free up resources and it goes Hi there, I see you closed some services and freed up some more RAM and CPU resources, so Im going to start up two more completely unnecessary services that will use up those freed resources and actually cost more than those you just shut down, mkay? Oh and if you try to shut down these, Ill shut down your entire computer. Sound good?
