You know that song - when youre going through hell, keep on going, dont slow down, if youre scared dont show it? That was the song on the radio as I left the hospital! I thought, how appropriate! For those who have sent messages and called about Jerry, heres where we are. For those who dont know, he was hit on Moffatt Rd on June 15th. His car was totaled and he ended up in the the ER. After fractures, stitches, and a lot of bruising he comes home. Pretty traumatic for anyone, but he was a trooper! A week later, his mom was taken to the hospital and, unfortunately, didnt make it home. He buried his mom on July 1st. He hasnt felt well but kept on going thinking work was what he needed. Well, it wasnt. It appears he has contracted an aggressive bacterial infection called C-Dif (which is the shortened version of something, something, something), but is very serious! We are waiting for more lab reports, but his nurse said it is likely he will end up in isolation??? I am fine. Allie (bless my sisters heart) is flying out at 6:00 a.m. for Cincinatti. I will have more information tomorrow and will keep everyone posted. I am honored to have a husband that is loved by so many. Keep praying. He was finally resting when I left him. Hopefully he will have a peaceful night. Love you all for asking. Keep him in your prayers!
