You know the machine that Batman uses in The Dark Knight to find the joker but when Morgan Freeman finds out about it says Im quitting because no man should have this much power. Well it exists If you havent seen TheNewsroom, at least give the first episode a run. The screenplay itself is brilliant. Aaron Sorkin wrote the show, as well as the following: A Few Good Men, The Social Network, Charlie Wilsons War, The West Wing, and Moneyball. Just to name a few Also currently working on the Untitled Steve Jobs film based on the biography written by Walter Isaacson (whom also wrote bios upon Albert Einstein, Benjamin Franklin, and Henry Kissinger) back in October 2011. Compared to the recent JOBS film with Ashton Kutcher, I believe Sorkins film adaptation will redeem those who thought JOBS was not as worthy as it really should have been. Granted, it was still an inspirational film but more narrow-focused than a real biography film. Okay, Im getting off track. But really though, TheNewsroom is a damn good show.
