You know, theres a lot of movies that are universally reviled that I just love. For instance. Daredevil. Yeah, the one with Ben Affleck. It has its problems, mostly due to the times it was made. The wire-fu was all the rage and the bad CG was all over the place, but I dont think it ruins the flick at all. They did a great job at adapting Millers stuff, I thought it was pretty brilliantly cast (Ben Affleck is the spitting image of Matt Murdock) and I theres certain things, like Daredevil popping pills to ease the pain of his nightly crimefighting, that I truly think make it exceptionally cool. I dont get the sudden hate for it.
