You know, this statement isnt left wing economic theory or ideology so much as it is verifiable fact. Tax policy that results in greater corporate profits by multi-national corporations that succeed every year to pay 0% federal income tax is terrible for small business, the middle class and poor and it absolutely does not create job growth. Still, job creation is the primary myth perpetrated by right-wing ideology thats bought and paid for by aggressive lobbying. The Tea Party will tell you that youre overtaxed and decry socialist wealth distribution at the mere mention of common sense tax policy. Policy that would prevent GE, Google, Verizon, Apple, Facebook, and every multinational corporation you can think of, to funnel their profits through the Bahamas and Cayman Islands to avoid paying U.S federal income tax, in order to REDISTRIBUTE wealth to the top 0.1% of earners for no social utility. Essentially, theyve trampled thousands of years of fundamental principles of democracy, rewritten the rules to shift their civic duty to the middle class, by hijacking government. Right-wing economic policies arent just a result of misled ideology but theyre untrue and, in the estimation of many, including myself, immoral. Income inequality has severe economic consequence and its been the greatest in every economic crisis in history. Inequality is skyrocketing, Obama failed to deliver on any promise to even attempt o avert it, and in fact he was bought and paid for too and exacerbated the problems himself. The time to combat it is approaching critical.
