You know today my heart is heavy, with the weight of the world. It seems that there is so much negativity in even our face book pages, and so on. What ever happened to the days where Moms were the keepers of the homes, dinners were taken together at a certain time, food was prepared and not quick steamed or phone ordered, Dads went out and worked and came in and did the chores of the grounds, The PTA was actually to help the students and schools work to build up the character of both. The neighbors actually got along and knew each other, kids were safe, bicycles were great modes of transportation, and you knew the coolest parents by the number of bikes in the front yard. Garages were used for automobiles and not for making Meth, there were curfews and we all knew them, we worked for what we got, and appreciated what we were given. Sometimes these days just get to me with the extravagant prices on things, making it to where people cannot afford to live, and what about camping and spending time together. I appreciate the fact that families in my church actually take your kids and you all spend quality time together as a family, with your in laws and extended family, and you all actually do love each other. It is fun times and not forced. I love that my church FAMILY for that is what most of them are to each other, gets along and is so loving and willing to work together. Someone once told me that you know, your chili supper was busy, but everyone was bustling around with a smile on their face and cheer in their hearts just waiting on everyone. I am so proud of being a part of this wonderful community of giving and loving people. This has helped me to be more positive this morning and I am so thankful.
