You know what? I HONESTLY believe this. To me, shopping, growing and eating organic is about so much more than just the chemicals in our food. Its about the health of the planet, the sustainability of the environment, the forming and forging of local communities and of course, it goes without saying, a MASSIVE improvement in health. And before people say what about the poor? How do we feed the poor, there wouldnt be enough food for them! well we could take the BILLIONS of dollars spent every year on GM engineering research, manufacture and transport of agricultural chemicals and the money used to lobby governments to pass bills supporting such things and funnel it back where it belongs - to the earth, to the communities, and to the people. And thats just for starters! Nice pipe dream, but Im sticking to it!!!
