You know when a lesson goes great when you want to share it -:) Well heres one for you Advanced lesson plan March 2014 4 students 2 poles Catherine Natasha Mirabele Katy Teachers Lesson Objective - Core development - Core balance - Upper body strength development - Flexibility and straight lines ( legs mainly) 15 mins Warm up off the poles Including stretch and bouncy squats :) Pull ups / chin ups with pointed toes to floor x 8 x 3 sets Touching and not touching floor repeats Pull ups / chin ups with toes / legs at 45degrees & 90degrees to floor with legs in front of pole x 8 x 3 sets Side spin To side spin hold /pose off the floor Count of 8 per pose hold Cartwheels left and right - straight lines (legs) Focus legs straight toes pointed Back shoulder floor roll Front pole glide facing pole - into back floor roll Looking at beginning middle and end of each move Posture and grace Butterfly Extended butterfly Elbow stand / Hand stand Elbow stand core work out - Descending straight legs to floor - legs wide, pointing toes Work on spotting techniques for participants working In pairs Hand stand / elbow stand with leg variations Repeat with core work out leg descend Working in pairs Pencil Straight edge practice ( me spotting) Allegra Bum slide from invert descend Figure head recap Cool down Splits stretching developmental Congratulations and home to relax :)
