You never know the depth of the pain many Nigerians are going through because of the war against terrorism until you lose someone close. As childhood friend, former schoolmate, a fine gentleman and a senior officer of the Nigerian Airforce has died in active service. One day, the people who give substandard and poorly maintainted equipments to our armed forces will be brought to justice. You cant be building mansions, buying big cars and accumulating such wealth at the expense of peoples lives. I dont care who is causing this war and why. What most of us Nigerians (including most of our military officers) want is for the President to lead the efforts to bring this war to an end and done swiftly. If Service Chiefs need to be fired, do it. If all Generals need to be retired, do it. If wartime but retired generals need to recalled, do it. Mr President act now and if you dont, you MUST NOT RETURN FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS. In this war against Boko Haram, we have lost several senior officers, lost many servicemen, lost many war equipments, seen several jet & helicopter crashes, lost army barracks, lost too many civilians, since many kidnapped and displaced, etc. THIS YEAR, WE HAVE THE HIGHEST CASUALTY RATE IN TERRORISM ACROSS THE GLOBE. I demand Mr President acts now or GET OUT THE HELL OUT OF OFFICE. I also demand that we Nigerians drop our apathetic attitude and get involved in building our country. We have suffered too much from incompetence. Oh Lord, hear the cry of your people, shake them up to rise up and fight for a better Nigeria, and also heal our land.
