You of all the people should have seen the truth that lay in front of your dark, glittering eyes Voices conversing uncontrollably You ended up here, and it is all your fault If only you had tried understanding their dialect You might have foreseen the events that were about to transpire No matter how much you pray for a ray of light, your prayers wont be answered They will only worsen your torture, for this darkness feeds on fear and despair Deafening, unearthly, almost rhythmical sounds echo through distant dark corridors Youre hanging from an imaginary rope, ready to fall The only thing strengthening your arms, enough to hold on the edge of the rope, is the fear of an eternal fall into darkness Darkness created by someones mind Your will to live will abandon you sooner or later When you cant hold on the rope anymore the journey begins A journey into darkness A journey into subconscious Who knew that here dwelled all these kinds of monstrous thoughts Thoughts that in this world are able to materialize Who knew that a mere thought could open the portal And through the portal they came Monsters created by ones mind Monsters that are after your sanity Monsters bred in darkness You pray again This time you pray for the fall to end erelong Before you lose your sanity Countless questions that remain unanswered The portal will only close when you find the answers to all of these questions You just hope that the surrounding darkness itself will provide the answers Whose dark dream could this be? Could it be yours? But why? Why would you dream of your own death? Why would you dream of your own torture? Are you be something you dreamt of -- a persona hidden in the depths of your subconscious? Are you awake or are you dreaming all of this? Most importantly, whats the purpose of having eyes when everything thats important remains hidden from sight by the veil of darkness that covers everything around you? That is, probably, for you to decide Questions that could create more questions Questions that could prolong this dream Weird as it may seem, you feel absolutely no pain when you reach the ground You just feel relieved At last, no more questions to torment you You just managed to deprive them of their best torture instrument Maybe thats a good thing Maybe now you can focus on the physical pain that is about to be inflicted on you At least this pain doesnt feel like another illusion
