Youll want to locate the Big Dipper, then follow the gentle arc of its handle outward (away from the North Star) about an eigth of the way across the sky to the brightest star in that section of the sky, Arcturus. In fact, I think Arcturus is the brightest star in the Winter sky, so it may be easier just to look for that. The Moon will wash out the fainter ones, but Arcturus is in the constellation Bootes, which is where the meteors should appear to emerge, and with 80 meteors an hour, should be a decent show starting after sundown tonight, if you have clear skies....
