Young race horses as we all know often break down.....badly and sadly too often there is no coming back from that. I only ask this because I accidently saw part of a video of breakdowns (I know they happen but I get very nauseous & upset seeing them) Do you all agree with racing these horses at the young ages or do you think stronger rules should be put into effect that allow these horses bones and joints to develop stronger & longer before being pushed to the max speed and force of a race. (this isnt to make anyone angry I am just interested in other peoples opinions.)
