Young union leaders from the Young NTUC Committee’s Industrial Sector got together to bring children from the Jamiyah Children’s Home for a day of fun and excitement. The children were brought to the ice-skating rink, where they tried ice-skating for the first time. Being first-timers, there were occasional stumbles and falls, but the young union leaders were there to help them along the way. After the two-hour session at the rink, they went for lunch where the young union leaders got to know the children better. Supported by the U Care-CSR Co-funding Scheme, this meaningful event gave the young union leaders the opportunity to do good, do together and do more to give back to the society.
