Your Church might be a Museum instead of a Church if: 1. Your pews are immaculate with no scratches....... 2. Your carpet looks like new and shows no wear and does not need replacing after 20 years...... 3. Your nursery does not have the sounds of crying babies each Sunday.... 4. Your tables have no crayon marks on them Monday morning.... 5, There are no handprints on the glass doors..... 6. If you have a grassy area with no worn spots from kids running and playing on it..... 7. If the members dont give.....of their time, money..... 8. If the members arent actively sharing Jesus on every day of the week outside of the Church walls...... 9. If none of the decorations have not been changed in years..... 10. If Jesus is not being preached as living a live of sacrifice and we are to do the same..... There are other reasons not listed here.....I just think of all the beautiful churches ever built in cities across the world......and are nothing more than tourist attractions......I think of all the churches across our countryside that the walls and roofs are falling in and are no more the vibrant revival places they once were.......how do we prevent this from happening to our church....it is not the pastors job....it is ours.....first.....make sure we are in our place at every opportunity.....and being a witness outside the walls and inviting people......give all we can.......not all we are supposed to give......in time and money.....there is a difference......support every childs ministry possible.....then reach the parents......be the Christian we are supposed to be......Day in and day out......and our Church will flourish.....rule 1.....Go to Church.......gary
