A real Christian trusts God without questions, like children trust their parents (Matthew 18:3). A real Christian denies himself and is willing to suffer to follow Jesus (Mark 8:34). A real Christian obeys Jesus (Hebrew 5:9). A real Christian treasures Jesus above everything this world has to offer (Matthew 13:44). Jesus gives us a sobering warning. He tells us that on the Last Day there will be many who say ‘Lord, Lord’, but will hear from Him ‘I never knew you’ (Matthew 7:21,23). Therefore, whether or not you are a real Christian is the most important question facing you in your life. You have to be sure! The Bible says: “Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). Trust in the Lord Jesus, follow Him, and receive eternal life.
